This stunning villa boasts four bedrooms, a 20 metre infinity pool, a splendid living and dining room and a fully equipped games room, all complemented by the finest furnishings and a five star standard of service. Bounded by the river Wos and a popular surf beach, the villa is approached through a rural setting of terraced rice fields, tobacco plantations, papaya and banana groves.
The villa is blessed with a spectacular outlook: across the ocean towards the beaches of Keramas and the islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan and over the pounding surf to the unrivalled grandeur of sacred Mount Agung…‘the finest view in the land of dreams’.
The accommodation comprises a Living & Dining Pavilion, a Games Room, and four bedrooms including the two-storey Master Suite complete with an upstairs study and a DVD room.
The Living & Dining Pavilion is a stand-alone, rectangular pavilion with glass walls on three sides designed to maximise the ocean views. The sliding glass doors can be fully opened to create an open-air tropical living experience enhanced by sea breezes and the sounds of the waves. The room is furnished with sofas and lazy chairs to create a sitting area at one end, while a dining table for eight is positioned at the other end next to a small kitchen.
Approaching the large living and dining pavilion, the ocean is immediately visible through the glass walls, which form three sides of this stand-alone building. A statue of Ganesha rests on one side of the glass entrance doors beside a sparkling wall of water cascading down to a lower level. The rectangular-shaped pavilion features a marble floor and a soaring roof lined with rattan.
The sliding glass doors can be opened to allow the sea breezes and the rhythmic sounds of the waves to penetrate, and the room can also be cooled by ceiling fans. A circular dining table for eight is positioned at one end. The other side of the pavilion is furnished with two sofas, lazy chairs, an ottoman, a coffee table, handcrafted lamps and local artefacts.
A small kitchen is positioned next to the dining area and a fully equipped service kitchen is located in the staff service area. Guests also have the option of dining alfresco on the elevated terrace in front of the pavilion, which overlooks the garden and the pool and the ocean, and is furnished with an outdoor dining table and chairs. A guest washroom is situated immediately outside the living and dining pavilion.
A stone staircase leads from the living pavilion down to the air-conditioned games room, which features an arched wooden ceiling and an adjoining, open-air, walled courtyard. The games room is equipped with a billiard table, a dart board, a wood-panelled bar with six bar chairs, a luxurious leather sofa, and a 40” LCD screen satellite TV, ideal for watching sports. The courtyard is open to the sky, bordered by a water cascade, and furnished with a synthetic rattan bar table and high chairs, together with a coffee table and chairs.
